In 2019, a study showed for the first time in history, the cost of constructing industrial green generation (Wind and Solar) was less expensive than conventional brown power. This milestone did not have an immediate effect on the cost of energy, but it did have an effect on the long-term outlook of the energy market and how energy is purchased, generated, and consumed. Panelists Chuck Hurchalla and Dailey Tipton discuss current energy market opportunities, the impact of COVID-19 on the market, green power generation, the real cost to “go green”, and more.
